Property Transfer

SettleIT is a digital property transfer and lodgment service that handles the administrative components of property transactions, so you can focus on legal guidance and client care. In the ‘Property Transfer’ step, key tasks like Verification of Identity are triggered automatically when you place your order. Additional tasks include the Client Authorisation Form, Trust Account Authority, Purchaser Declaration (if required), and the Mortgage Discharge Authority Form. If you have already started these tasks under ‘Client Engagement,’ SettleIT will sync the data to avoid duplication with no added cost to you.
SettleIT integrates seamlessly with other tools within the interface, including client engagement and property certificate ordering. Its connection to your practice management system helps streamline the entire process.
Most firms book once the contract becomes unconditional. However, since fees are only charged upon transfer, you can place your order at any time before the unconditional date if preferred.
You can message your file handler directly using the communication tool in the ‘Property Transfer’ step. Important updates will also appear within the same space.
In a Family Law setting, clients typically place their property transfer order with SettleIT once the court order is received, or a financial agreement can be provided. However, as the fee is only deducted upon settlement occurs, you have the flexibility to place your order any time before the unconditional date if preferred.
