How to do a liveness check

Where previously, your clients were required to record a video of themselves saying a randomly generated four-digit code you can now verify your client’s identity remotely, without the need for a video.

The enhanced facial liveness feature ensures the user’s physical presence and effectively counters impersonation attempts.  The system rejects attempts to use still photos and pre-recorded videos, providing a liveness score as a percentage and limiting attempts to prevent impersonation. The face analysis checks against ten criteria, including eye openness, image brightness and sharpness, and pose to ensure a security. By selecting “Remote (liveness check)” from the Workflow dropdown in your next VOI order, you can take advantage of this feature, which can also be set as your default in under settings.
