Perth’s inner-city suburb of Burswood is proving to be a top choice for prospective home buyers with the latest property data showing it is the most searched suburb in Western Australia.
The latest figures from property experts InfoTrack reveal the hotspot in Perth’s southeast had the highest number of suburb searches ordered of any WA location on the InfoTrackGO site from January to July this year.
InfoTrackGO spokesperson Sandra Falzon said Burswood’s bustling entertainment precinct was proving attractive to buyers.
“The InfoTrackGO site allows prospective buyers to instantly do their research on specific properties by ordering Title searches, plans or valuation reports for properties they’re looking to buy,” Ms Falzon said.
“It means buyers are better informed about the properties they’re interested in and can quickly identify if there are any approved developments in the area, if the property is in a flood zone, or on contaminated land, and if renovation plans would be possible, all things that affect buying decisions.”
With the Spring bumper selling season on the horizon, more and more Australians are putting extensive time into research so they can move quickly when it comes to putting in an offer.
Burswood took out the top spot in WA, followed by Joondanna, Greenfields, Gosnells, and Myaree.
National figures show Sydney’s North Shore suburb of Mosman had the highest number of suburb reports ordered of anywhere across the country.
