Inner City suburbs among Victoria's most researched suburbs

Melbourne’s affluent inner-city suburbs have proven a top choice for prospective property buyers in 2024 featuring among the State’s most researched suburbs.

Figures from prop tech firm InfoTrack reveal the blue chip suburb of Toorak was the most searched for suburb in VIC on the InfoTrackGo site from January to December this year.

 
InfoTrackGO offers an extensive range of reports to potential property buyers, equipping them with the information they need to make an informed property purchase. InfoTrackGO Spokesperson Sandra Falzon said being one of the most famous suburbs in Australia, it was no surprise that Toorak had the highest volume of searches.

 
“Toorak is home to some of the most expensive real estate in the country and synonymous with wealth and prestige,” Ms Falzon said.
“This property hot spot is just five kilometres from the Melbourne CBD with an abundance of stunning heritage houses as well as architecturally designed homes on offer for the discerning buyer.”

 
At number two on the list of Victoria’s most coveted locations was Melbourne’s CBD, while other sought-after inner-city suburbs on the list include Southbank and South Yarra.

 
Outside the Melbourne metro area, Berwick, 41 kilometres southeast of the capital, has proved popular throughout 2024, coming in at number three on the list, while Loy Yang, in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley, has come in at number four.

 
“These booming regional areas are proving attractive for their relative affordability while still offering buyers every amenity for modern living.”
Ms Falzon said the InfoTrackGo site allows would be buyers to take their research into their own hands, so they are fully informed through the buying process.
