Sydney Water has advised that they will be conducting essential system upgrades in June. We understand that a disruption to the services will be challenging for you and your clients; please be assured that Sydney Water would not be conducting the upgrade unless it was absolutely necessary.

What does this mean for you?

This means between 8 June and 16 June 2019, inclusive, you cannot submit any new certificate requests, including:
- Sewer Service Diagram (SSD)
- Building Over Sewer Letter (BOS)
- Building Adjacent to Sewer Letter (BAS)
- Conveyancing Certificate (Section 66)
- Section 88G
- Service Location Print (SLP)
- Special Meter Reading

What you can do to ensure it doesn’t impact you with:

Property Settlements

It’s important that if you have property settlements booked between 8 June and 16 June, you will need to submit all requests by 27 May 2019 to ensure there is no delay in the settlement.

Chasing Certificates

Please note that during this time, Sydney Water will not be issuing any certificates, and as such our property services team will be unable to chase outstanding certificates during this outage.
