Mental health awareness with Beyond Blue

At InfoTrack, we love that our employees and clients are all different. They come from different backgrounds, speak different languages and have different interests and hobbies. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, view the world differently and need different things. Just being who you are awesome, but we recognise that sometimes it’s tough and everyone needs a little help and support sometimes.

To support this, we recently launched the InfoTrack ‘Be Me’ Wellness Program. This unique program is designed to promote, support and protect the physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing of our employees and clients because here at InfoTrack, we wholeheartedly believe in our values; we care about the people we work with and the clients we work for.

As part of this commitment, I’m pleased to announce we will be hosting a Mental Health Awareness breakfast seminar for our employees and clients on Friday 10th May at 8am at the InfoTrack Head Office in Sydney with George Laggis, Beyond Blue Wellness Ambassador, as our keynote speaker.

George is a chartered accountant with over 25 years’ experience in the corporate world. He is currently the General Manager of Finance in the automotive services sector. George is very open in the workplace about his lived experience of mental health conditions and his transparency, authenticity and vulnerability has aspired others to get help.

George became a Beyond Blue speaker to share his own journey with mental illness and in doing so, normalising mental illness, reducing stigma and raising awareness. George has gained strength and power from understanding and embracing his mental illness and wants to inspire others along their own journeys.
